Joseph V. Muller, 76, of 725 Campbell Ave, died at 10:15 a.m. Sunday at St. John's Hospital.
Born in Sangamon County, the son of Alexander and Bertha Zimmerman Muller, he was a lifelong resident of Springfield and a retired Heberling Co. salesman.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Rita Vogt, Mrs. Bertha Meredith, both of Springfield, Miss Theresa Muller at home; one son, Joseph A. of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Pulskamp of Fargo, N.D., Mrs. Catherine Flesch of Burbank, CA., one brother, Alvey of Hillsboro, N.D.; four grandchildren.
Services will be 9 a.m. Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Church, with Rev. Frank Westhoff officiating. Burial will be in Clavary Cemetery, Staab Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
