John heiratete Mary Muller, Tochter von Alexander Müller alias Muller und Bertha Zimmerman, am 27. Nov. 1912. (Mary Muller wurde geboren am 20. Dez. 1887 in Illinois, starb am 21. Mai 1966 in Hillsboro, Traill, North Dakota und wurde bestattet in Hillsboro, Traill, North Dakota.)
