Obituary
John G. Muller, 77, of 817 S 4th St., died at 8:50 p.m. yesterday (Friday, Oct 3, 1958) in St. John's Hospital following a six month illness.
Mr. Muller was born June 21, 1881 in Springfield, the son of Alexander and Bertha Zimmerman Muller. He married Anna Brunner Sept. 11, 1907. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and had been employed at the Weaver Manufacturing Co. 18 years. He was a member of the United Steel Workers of America, Local 1522.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Mrs. Rosemary Box, Elmhurst; Mrs. Esther Timpko, Auburn; Miss Clarita Ann Muller, Springfield; five sons, Lee J., John L., Robert F., and Joseph I., all of Springfield; George of Athens; 22 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Louis M. Gietl Sr., and Mrs. Frank J. Fleck Sr., both of Springfield; Mrs. Edward Hall, Glendale, Calif.; Mrs. John Vettel, Hillsboro, N.D.; Mrs. Jacob Pulskamp, Nekoma, N.D.; Mrs. Arthur Flesch Sr., Burbank, Calif.; two brothers, Joseph V., Springfield; Alvin F., Hillsboro, N.D.
The body is at the Staab Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with the Rev. I.R. Will officiating, assisting by the Rev. Victor Balke and the Rev. Casimer Gierut. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Married at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning, September 11, 1907, at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Rev. Father Reissen, pastor of the church, performing the ceremony, John G. Muller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Muller, residing south of the city, and Miss Anna Agnes Brunner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Brunner, west of the city.
The altar at the church was prettily decorated in pink and white flowers. Preceding the ceremony the Lohengrin wedding march was played bySister Constance. Morrison's Mass in F was sung by the full choir. During the ceremony, "Hearts and Flowers" was played. Mendelsson's wedding march was played as a recessional.
The bride was attired in white, persian lawn trimmed in val lace. She wore a long veil with orange blossoms in her hair. Miss Bertha Louise Muller, sister of the groom, acted as maid of honor, and wore white French lawn trimmed in Mechline lace. She carried a shower bouquetof Pink asters. John Brunner, brother of the bride, acted as best man.
After the ceremony, luncheon was served at the home of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Muller left on a short wedding trip and on their return will reside with the bride's parents until March 1, when they will go tohousekeeping on a farm in Bradfordton.
The out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. C. Kavanaugh of Ashland, Miss Blanche Dunchen of Oakford, IL., and Miss Tillie Engelhart of Montrose, MO.
John heiratete Anna Agnes Brunner am 11. Sep. 1907 in Illinois. (Anna Agnes Brunner wurde geboren am 16. Feb. 1886 in Ashland, IL, starb am 4. Feb. 1965 in Illinois und wurde bestattet am 6. Feb. 1965 in Illinois.)
