To Repeat Vows on 50th Date

Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Fleck Sr., of 1910 W. Jefferson St., will celebrate their golden wedding next Saturday with a special anniversary mass at 9 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul's church where they spoke their original vows.

Three nephews of the couple will be principals at the solemn high mass in which their marriage vows will be renewed. They are Rev. Maurice Mueller, Nekoma, N.D., celebrant; Rev. Louis Shea, Decatur, deacon,and Frater Leo Pulskamp, Washington, D.C. Rev L. G. Kipping will be master of ceremonies.

Mrs. Marie O'Donnell, cousin of Mr. Fleck, and John Muller, brother of Mrs. Fleck, original attendants 50 years ago, will again attend thecouple. Breakfast for the immediate families will be served in the anniversary room of the St. Nicholas hotel.

Mr. and Mrs. Fleck will entertain at an open house in their home from2 until 5 p.m. next Saturday. Relatives and friends are invited.

They are the parents of one son, Frank J. Fleck Jr., and seven daughters, Mrs. Clara Dolence, Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Audrey Knight, Bloomington, Il., Mrs. Marguerite Schmidt, Mrs. Bertha Fleck Lederle, Mrs. Bernadine Haley, Mrs. Dorothy McCarty, and Miss Lorraine A. Fleck, allof Springfield.

They have 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Fleck are pioneer motel operators in Springfield and have operated Fleck's motel,

west of the city, the past 17 years. They have resided in Springfield all their lives.
